Marx Stock: 1062B
Produced: 1967-1975
Jay West was the second of the two West Boys. He too was 7.5” tall, had a molded caramel colored body, and all brown soft vinyl accessories. Jay's hair was blonde and his body can be identified by molded pockets in the chest area. In 1975, the JWA series changed his intended body mold color to dark brown. His vinyl accessories were mixed red and yellow. Some dark brown Jay bodies may also have molded fringe shirts normally used for Jamie West. MOD Canadian versions were molded in black, and the vinyl accessories were molded in white color. The same breakage can be found in old issue caramel Jays like the Jamies. Stress cracks are typical in the JWA and MOD colored versions in the elbow sockets. Like Jamie, many nice ones are out there waiting to be found. Some mint figures might have a stress crack, so don't be to alarmed. Our books and modules show excellent differences in full color for variations of these figures, check out the book section for more details. The Canadian Module alone has 44 pages of details on Canada produced figures.
