Sir Stuart was a 12” poly-plastic figure molded in a gray to silver color. His accessories were molded in silver Metallic poly-plastic, and his head can be identified by black slicked back hair and a goatee. Note his head was used in 1972 for The Sam Cobra figure. His armor totals 28 pieces and is very authentic looking with great detail. Armor pieces many times have cracked loops or broken tabs, the armor can break easily if it is removed from a figure. There are mainly two illustrated box versions. The 1 st issues have a castle in the left corner with a sky in the background, 2 nd issue versions have the 1970 MOD styling with bright solid purple and red colors in background. Rivet upgrades were also done on the later issues. The U.K. version of the silver knight is called Sir Roland. The U.K. also offered a window boxed version of Sir Roland sold in a universal type Viking/Knight boxes. Expect to pay a little more for the U.K. or 2 nd issue U.S. versions. The reissues are OK, but have fragile armor.
